Terms and conditions of sale

1. Preamble

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTCS") govern sales between :

And any individual or legal entity making a purchase via the solecooler.com website (hereinafter "the Customer").

All orders imply unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Delivery

Products are shipped to the address indicated by the Customer.
Indicative lead times are specified when the order is placed.
Maximum delivery time: 30 days (article L.216-1 C. conso).
In the event of delay, the customer may request cancellation and reimbursement of the order.
Shipping costs are specified before the order is validated.

3. Right of withdrawal and return policy

In accordance with the French Consumer Code, the customer has 30 days from receipt to exercise his right of withdrawal, without giving any reason. The request must be notified by e-mail to sales@solecooler.com.

Products must be returned complete, in original condition (packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.).

Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense, unless an error is attributable to the Seller.
Refund within 30 days of receipt of products.
Sole cut-outs should also be returned to the seller for recycling.
Standard withdrawal form (to be sent only if you wish to withdraw) : See appendix at bottom of page.

4. Return policy

Our insoles have been independently tested by laboratories which have clearly demonstrated a rise in temperature on the hot side and a decrease on the cold side. Nevertheless, the foot is the part of the body with the fewest thermal sensors, and so, because of the time it takes for the thermodynamic cycle to start up, the temperature change is very gradual, and some people may feel neither the temperature increase on the warm side nor the decrease on the cold side. In such cases, we recommend that you continue to use our insoles for several hours, as the thermal effect can then be felt in winter either as warming or as the absence of cooling, and in summer either as cooling or as the absence of heating. If, in spite of this, some people do not feel any thermal comfort, we accept, within 30 days of your purchase, to take back your insoles even once cut and refund them to you. We just want the insoles to be in good condition, and in any case fit for use by others.

Solecooler will recondition them and offer them to populations exposed to extreme temperatures and unable to afford them, such as children or workers in poor countries.

Return procedure:

* Inform us of your desire for a refund by e-mail to info@solecooler.com.

* Return insoles and off-cuts to us in their original packaging,

* That the insoles are cut to a size larger than 35 EU (3.5 US or 2 UK) and clean to enable them to be offered to people exposed to extreme heat or cold in developing countries.

Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense, unless an error is attributable to the Seller.

5. Legal warranties

The seller is bound by legal warranties:

valid for 2 years from the date of delivery.

Warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 C. civ.) :

The buyer may ask for the sale to be rescinded or for the price to be reduced.

6. Products

The products offered are those described on the solecooler.com website.

Each product is presented with a detailed description. Photographs are not contractual.

7. Awards

Prices are given in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (TTC), excluding delivery costs.

Delivery costs are specified before final validation of the order.

The Vendor reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, while guaranteeing to the Customer the application of the price displayed at the time of the order.

8. Control

The order is validated when the Customer has completed the form, accepted the GTC and proceeded to payment.

An order confirmation is sent by email.

The Vendor reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a previous dispute with the Customer.

9. Payment

Payment for purchases can be made via :

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)

PayPal / Revolut (depending on WooCommerce configuration)

Any other method indicated on the site.

Payment is secure via WooCommerce's integrated service providers.

10. Liability

The Seller shall not be held liable in the event of :

Product misuse,
Damage resulting from negligence on the part of the customer,
Temporary unavailability of the site (maintenance or force majeure).

11. Protection of personal data (RGPD)

Personal data is used solely for processing orders and maintaining commercial relations.
The customer has the right to access, rectify and delete data by contacting serviceinfo@solecooler.com.
No data is passed on to third parties without your consent.
